About Our Sanctuary
Understand Our Purpose
As a small generational farming family, our core values have always evolved around taking pride in our hard work, educating on the importance of agriculture, maintaining integrity as we preserve our farmland, prioritizing the care of our farm animals, and always searching for new ways to be of service to others in our community. In 2018, Home Sweet Home Animal Sanctuary (HSHAS), at Mother Nature’s Farm, was established as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
As our cities and towns grow, hundreds of farm animals are displaced or abandoned as more farmland disappears to accommodate the increasing need for housing and commercial developments. Some farm animals are obtained by individuals, as babies, and quickly outgrow the environment they have to offer. This creates a need for the rehoming of many helpless farm animals. Utilizing the 40 acres of land that Mother Nature’s Farm has to offer, along with funding from private and public donations, Home Sweet Home Animal Sanctuary (HSHAS) has been able to rescue and adopt over 207 farm animals!
Our mission is to preserve farm life by rescuing displaced farm animals. To show compassion and bring awareness by accommodating homeless farm animals with a forever home at our farm sanctuary, while also providing them with the essentials needed to live out a healthy life.
